The Portfolio Problem

David runs a photography studio in Miami. He tried to help models build portfolios, but a big, expensive website took too much time and money for a lot of them. So they did what everyone does: tossed a basic link tool in their Instagram bio.

No endless decisions. Just jump in, build it fast, and leave with something that looks amazing. David started prototyping right away, testing different layouts and flows until it finally felt simple and smooth.

Picking Up Speed

That’s when Molly came in to help David shape the idea, refine the vision, and speed up development with AI tools. She also became obsessed with one thing: making sure users didn’t get stuck. She focused on guiding people step-by-step so they could build a great Outli.ne fast—and actually feel proud to share it.

It Wasn’t Just Models

Outli.ne started for models & agencies but once more people showed up, we noticed something right away—this wasn't just for one industry. The people who loved it most were the ones who need to show their work, not just talk about it.

So the niche grew on its own. Stylists, photographers, coaches, artists—solopreneurs who rely on visual proof. Because when your work looks great, it should speak for itself.

Then we added video.
That's when everything clicked.

We built so many features—swipeable cards, analytics, stock images, SEO enhancements. But the biggest wow factor? When video landed. That's what made people see the magic.
